We are a non-profit association that operates without profit orientation and sees itself as a platform for promoting local art and culture in a free and safe environment. We provide a stage for local musicians, performers, visual artists, and FLINTA*/LGBTQIA+ creatives, and commission activist acts that stand for social diversity, feminism, and anti-discrimination.
Our events are deliberately non-commercial – they serve exclusively for cultural exchange and the promotion of local art.
Additionally, we offer workshops as part of our educational mission: we provide accessible education on topics such as consent, interpersonal respect, sexual self-determination, and body-positive attitudes. Driven by the belief that music and joyful celebration possess transformative powers, we create playful, dreamy, and loving experiences.

A place where love for music and communal celebration can flourish requires that every person feels comfortable and safe. Our events are designed as SafeR Spaces where marginalized groups – especially FLINTA*, queers, and BIPoC – receive protected cultural and social spaces. We actively promote equality for women, FLINTA individuals, and LGBTQIA+ communities. Our events are imbued with feminist and anti-racist values, where consent, empathy, and the explicit, mutual agreement of everyone present are the highest priority. Our Awareness Team actively addresses topics such as consent, social tolerance, body acceptance, and discrimination-sensitive behaviour. Moreover, we endorse the concept of Body Neutrality: it is not necessary to love or hate our bodies. A neutral view of our bodily functions, including partying, is entirely sufficient.

Feuchteträume is a non-profit association and we make no profit from our parties. Our income flows directly into the association and our events.
Our collective is kept alive by dreamers. By people who share the same values and beliefs about *-positive partying – first and foremost our core team, our volunteers, our colleagues at the respective venues and, most importantly of all, our unique and inspiring community.
Out of all of our collaboration grows a wonderful team that shapes a SafeR Space together: through our outfits, our attitude, and by looking out for one another while we move to the music and make our dreams come true.

Our leads work on our events out of conviction and love for the community – voluntarily and with a lot of passion.
We would like to get to know you first.
Access to our events is reserved exclusively for people who apply online before the event and whose application is accepted. There are no door sales and no open commercial access.
This system does not serve commercial profit but rather the qualitative and responsible implementation of non-profit cultural work. Revenue from membership fees flows exclusively into the realisation of our art and culture projects and the training of our Awareness Team.
During the application process, we check whether applicants understand and represent our values – especially regarding consent, awareness, positive participation, and safe spaces. The questionnaire takes about 15–20 minutes. There is no right or wrong for the open questions – we simply want to get to know you better in advance. We look forward to diving into a safe and dreamy atmosphere with you!

Awareness is a shared attitude.
For us, awareness is not just the job of one team but a shared attitude of all guests. Respect, consent, and attentiveness towards one another are central elements of our event concept.
We therefore ask every person at our event to always be attentive and mindful, and to be present at our events with intention.
Our trained Awareness Team follows three core principles to make the night as safe as possible together with you.

Consent
AWA (short for Awareness) acts in agreement with and in the interest of the person affected – only after they have given their explicit consent to further steps. So only when there is consent. Clear agreement is required. The needs, boundaries, and wishes of the people involved must be respected.

Power of definition
Where an assault begins is always defined by the person affected. They have the right to decide how things proceed after the incident. They are not obliged to decide and can change their mind about the next steps at any time.

Partiality
In survivor-centred awareness, we are not neutral: the perception and credibility of the person affected are not questioned – solidarity comes first. We do not need to “hear both sides” first in order to believe people affected by abusive behaviour.
In cases of discriminatory incidents, AWA proactively approaches guests – for example by asking whether a person is okay, or by distracting from a situation. Presence alone can already have a de-escalating effect.
How to find us
- Awareness stand
- To be there for everyone during the event, there is a fixed awareness stand at every venue at all times. This point of contact is always staffed and can be visited at any time. All guests are welcome – whether you need support, want to talk through a situation, or simply need a little calm and comfort.
- On the move
- We are also mobile at every event. Our AWA team is identifiable at all times by glowing fairy lights and can be approached whenever support is needed on the dance floor or in any other area. Please don’t hesitate to approach an AWA person if you notice something that requires attention – or if you need attention yourself.
- Always there for you
- You don’t have to deliver a perfect explanation of a situation or justify yourself. Just come by!
A central part of our AWA concept is intensive preparation of everyone on the awareness team. The goal is to foster clear procedures, a shared understanding of consent, and sensitive communication.
Entry by time slot and with pre-check-in.
Our entry team on site wears a pink reflective harness. Feel free to approach us with any questions!
We ask everyone to use the time in the queue to have your ticket, ID, and a photo of your outfit ready. If you are already wearing your outfit, that’s great too – then we can see it right away.
Maybe you have already covered your camera at home; otherwise you’ll get a sticker from us. We have a no-photo policy.
Please go through our Code of Conduct once more before the event. We all share responsibility for the event – that includes knowing our rules of conduct.
While queuing, please also prepare for the bag check. Not allowed: bottles containing liquids and safety-relevant items (e.g. pocket knives or similar).

Pre-check-in
For the pre-check-in we also need your ticket, ID, and outfit photo. The same selection takes place there as at our door on the day of the event. If you have already gone through the selection beforehand, you will be briefly asked how you are doing on the day – we call this the vibe check. The conversation will be shorter.

Done the pre-check-in, or on the guest list or friends list? Then you are generally no longer bound to the time slot you chose when buying your ticket. Use the marked Fast Lane.

Got a regular ticket? Please arrive on time within your time slot and join the regular queue.
Our selection is not a “hard door” for its own sake, but a meaningful one. It is one of our shared tools for a SafeR Space.

Please come to our parties informed: in a relaxed conversation we will ask you a few questions about our Code of Conduct, our values, and our rules of conduct.
We want to see that you are ready to help shape our SafeR Space responsibly.
Your outfit shapes the whole room.
Your outfit doesn’t just do something for you, it shapes the whole room. That is why we place special emphasis on our dress code.
When we look at your outfit, we want to see that you have put thought into what you are wearing. We want to see that you are aware of the effect of your appearance and have made an effort to shape our space in a *-positive way. What we don’t want at our events is everyday life!
Every one of our parties has a theme. We are always happy when you let the theme of the party flow into your outfit – but it’s not a must! You should feel comfortable and carry that feeling outwards.
We want to create a space where people can experiment playfully with clothing, body, and sexuality. Your outfit should be a creative, playful expression of your own identity and/or sexuality.

Underwear can be part of an outfit. The idea, however, is that it is worn deliberately as part of the look and does not come across as everyday clothing.
It is not about showing as much skin as possible. It is about expression, creativity, and the conscious decision for a look. What is sexy, playful, or sensual for one person can look completely different for another.
Frequently asked questions
01 Where do I get a ticket?
Tickets are available exclusively through our official ticket shop.
02 Are the tickets personalised?
Yes. Our tickets are personalised and non-transferable.
When buying your ticket, please enter your full name – exactly as it appears on your ID document. Abbreviations, nicknames, or just the first letters of your name are not sufficient. Example: ❌ “Max Muster” for Max Mustermann.
This is not bureaucratic harassment but part of our safety concept. At a personalised event, it must be traceable who actually has access to the event.
03 Can I cancel my ticket?
Yes, cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before the event. After this deadline, we generally cannot cancel or refund tickets.
The cancellation option must be purchased together with the ticket.
04 I didn’t receive my ticket by e-mail. What should I do?
Please check your spam or junk folder first.
If the ticket isn’t there either, you can simply log in to your account on our website – your ticket is stored there as well.
05 My application was rejected – what can I do?
You can reply directly to the rejection and ask for feedback. As a rule, we give you a second chance.
Couple applications are generally excluded.
06 Does every person have to apply individually?
Yes. Even if you come as friends, partners, or a group, every person must complete their own application.
07 Does a ticket automatically mean I will get in?
No, you can still be turned away at the door. A ticket alone does not replace our entry and AWA rules. Access to the event is bound to our safety and safer-space rules.
08 Does the name on my ID have to match the ticket?
Yes. Since our tickets are personalised, your identity must be clearly verifiable at the entrance.
09 Why are you so strict about names?
Because we take the safety of our guests seriously. At personalised events, it is standard that the name on the ticket matches the ID. For us, this is additionally part of our safer-space concept.
10 What happens if I forget my ID?
Without a way to clearly verify your identity, entry cannot be guaranteed. Please make sure to bring a valid photo ID or other identification.
11 Am I bound to my time slot?
Yes. For smooth entry, it is important that we can plan how many people arrive in which slot. We check tickets, names, and access requirements, and also carry out the AWA check. This can take some time – especially when it’s busy.

12 What happens if I report someone at the party?
Our AWA team takes reports seriously and decides on the next steps together with the responsible team. These can vary depending on the situation.
13 Will the person I report be informed about me?
We protect the privacy of people who reach out to us. We therefore do not pass on any information about reporting persons or their identity.
14 Can a person be excluded from future events?
Yes. If we come to the conclusion that a person poses a danger to our SafeR Space, we can deny them access to future events.
15 Where can I reach out if I want to talk?

16 Who can I contact if my question isn’t answered here?

17 Why doesn’t support reply immediately?
Feuchteträume is organised by a dedicated volunteer team in their free time. We try to answer all messages as quickly as possible.
Please don’t send several messages about the same request on different channels – this slows down processing.
The love for electronic music and the regenerative power of dancing have proven to be the perfect breeding ground for social exchange and consequently for deep friendships for me. Unfortunately, as a FLINTA person in Vienna's nightlife, I too often had to find that mutual respect and consent were not maintained by all partygoers. Therefore, it is of particular concern to us at feuchteträume to create a SafeR Space.
