Concept
We are a non-profit association comprised of a diverse group of people who, despite different motivations, share a common passion for music and aim to make Vienna's club culture safer. Driven by the firm belief that music and joyful celebrations possess transformative powers, we organize parties that bring people together, create connections, and provide space for personal development. Following our mission, we design playful, dreamy, and enticing sex-positive parties, accompanied by melodic sounds. We invite you to join us in a world of openness and self-expression – far from the societal constraints regarding sexuality, body image, or dating.
Awareness
To ensure a safe and pleasant environment where everyone adheres to our shared values, our Awareness Team plays a crucial role in creating a SafeR Space at "Feuchte Träume." Too often, we have seen how individual's excessive understanding of freedom can tarnish the party experience. The principle that one's freedom ends where another's begins applies here. From the application process for our event, we strive to get to know our guests better while simultaneously conveying our values. A team of experienced and specially trained Awareness staff is available throughout the event to provide support and assistance.
A place where love for music and communal celebration can flourish requires that every person feels comfortable and safe. Therefore, our aim is to create an atmosphere where mutual respect and care are a matter of course. With great commitment, we strive to realize a SafeR Space, especially for FLINTA*, Queers, and BIPoC. Our events are imbued with feminist and anti-racist values, where consent, empathy, and explicit mutual agreement among all present are of the highest priority. Moreover, we endorse the concept of Body Neutrality: It's not necessary to love or hate our bodies. A neutral view of our body functions, including partying, is entirely sufficient.
The love for electronic music and the regenerative power of dancing have proven to be the perfect breeding ground for social exchange and consequently for deep friendships for me. Unfortunately, as a FLINTA person in Vienna's nightlife, I too often had to find that mutual respect and consent were not maintained by all partygoers. Therefore, it is of particular concern to us at Feuchte Träume to create a SafeR Space. Sarah (Awareness/Orga Team)
