Concept
A love-positive fairytale
Dancing is a transformative force.
We are a non-profit association that operates without profit orientation and sees itself as a platform for promoting local art and culture in a free and safe environment. We provide a stage for local musicians, performers, visual artists, and FLINTA*/LGBTQIA+ creatives, and commission activist acts that stand for social diversity, feminism, and anti-discrimination. Our events are deliberately non-commercial – they serve exclusively for cultural exchange and the promotion of local art. Beyond music, we offer microspaces designed by artists to give them visibility for their work. Additionally, we offer workshops as part of our educational mission: we provide accessible education on topics such as consent, interpersonal respect, sexual self-determination, and body-positive attitudes. Driven by the belief that music and joyful celebrations possess transformative powers, we create playful, dreamy, and loving experiences. We invite you to join us in a world of openness and self-expression – far from societal expectations and constraints.

Awareness
Consent · Care · Community
Freedom needs trust.
To ensure a safe and pleasant environment where everyone adheres to our shared values, our Awareness Team plays a crucial role in creating a SafeR Space at "feuchteträume." Too often, we have seen how individual's excessive understanding of freedom can tarnish the party experience. The principle that one's freedom ends where another's begins applies here. From the application process for our event, we strive to get to know our guests better while simultaneously conveying our values. A team of experienced and specially trained Awareness staff is available throughout the event to provide support and assistance.
01 Values
A place where love for music and communal celebration can flourish requires that every person feels comfortable and safe. Our events are designed as SafeR Spaces where marginalized groups – especially FLINTA*, Queers, and BIPoC – receive protected cultural and social spaces. We actively promote equality for women, FLINTA individuals, and LGBTQIA+ communities. Our events are imbued with feminist and anti-racist values, where consent, empathy, and explicit mutual agreement among all present are of the highest priority. Our Awareness Team actively addresses topics such as consent, social tolerance, body acceptance, and discrimination-sensitive behavior. Moreover, we endorse the concept of Body Neutrality: It's not necessary to love or hate our bodies. A neutral view of our body functions, including partying, is entirely sufficient.
02 SafeR Space
The culture of love Positivity and Techno celebrates the openness to rediscover oneself and others. At "feuchteträume", mutual respect is the foundation for enabling everyone to enjoy a carefree night. We aspire for all participants to move freely and confidently without the need to hide or pretend. However, we must be realistic: public space is not a sex-positive vacuum, and unfortunately, there are still instances of overstepping boundaries and discrimination. To counteract this, our events feature an Awareness Team of experienced and trained individuals who ensure mindful interaction and raise awareness. Our Awareness Team can be identified by the fairy lights they wear. We acknowledge that no place can be entirely safe for marginalized groups. Therefore, we talk about SafeR Spaces and rely on everyone's cooperation: please do not hesitate to contact us if you feel uncomfortable or notice someone else feeling the same. Following the principle: "See something, say something." If you need a break, feel overwhelmed, or have forgotten something, our Awareness Team is ready to help. Sexist, racist, queerphobic, transphobic, and all other forms of discrimination have no place with us. Those who do not respect the boundaries of others have no place with us. Consent and empathetic interaction are paramount in a sex-positive environment. Ensure you have explicit, verbally expressed consent for everything. Only a clear "Yes" means yes. Even if we may sound strict, we mean well – it's better to be too strict than too lenient to ensure the safety of all guests. Therefore, being turned away at the door is not personal but for the community's protection.
03 Application
Access to our events is exclusively reserved for individuals who apply in advance and become members of the association in the process. There is no door sales and no open commercial access. This system does not serve commercial profit but rather the qualitative and responsible implementation of non-profit cultural work. Revenue from membership fees flows exclusively into the realization of our art and culture projects and the training of our Awareness Team. During the application process, we verify that applicants understand and represent our values – especially regarding consent, awareness, positive participation, and safe spaces. The questionnaire takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. There is no right or wrong for the open questions – we simply want to get to know you better in advance. We look forward to diving into a safe and dreamy atmosphere with you!
Start your applicationThe love for electronic music and the regenerative power of dancing have proven to be the perfect breeding ground for social exchange and consequently for deep friendships for me. Unfortunately, as a FLINTA person in Vienna's nightlife, I too often had to find that mutual respect and consent were not maintained by all partygoers. Therefore, it is of particular concern to us at feuchteträume to create a SafeR Space.
